About Me

I'm a wife with one son at home and two grown stepsons. I work full-time at home as a medical transcriptionist, part-time at a hospital in emergency department registration. Currently taking a CNA course to get my license.

I started crafting a couple of years ago when I found one of those cut, sew and stuff patterns of a cute blue, big eyed, teddy bear that someone gave me when I was kid in the 70's which led me to find the red kitty cat pattern of the one my sister got at the same time. I've always loved art and design and wanted to learn to sew. So my hubby got me a sewing machine and a very good friend of mine taught a few basic skills and made a couple of skirts, and it snowballed from there. I started a blog of my crafting projects and found a whole exciting world of people who blog about their crafts. I love reading their blogs and am constantly inspired by those awesomely talented people.
